At the press conference, Du Xin, spokesman of the Beijing Healthcare Security Administration, responded to recent media reports of the expedited fee charged by some social testing agencies in the city when carrying out COVID-19 nucleic acid testing. Through the joint research by some department such as the Municipal Health Insurance Bureau, the Municipal Health Committee, the Municipal Market Supervision Bureau, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission, the Municipal Finance Bureau and other departments, the charging behavior of nucleic acid testing institutions in the city will be further standardized. When carrying out nucleic acid testing, all kinds of testing institutions in the city shall charge a unified price according to the new coronavirus nucleic acid testing items' price that is not higher than that of 35 yuan for single testing, not higher than that of 8 yuan for mixed testing, and no urgent fee shall be charged. All relevant testing agencies shall take the initiative to publicize the prices of new coronavirus nucleic acid testing and mixed testing in prominent positions, provide services to the public and charge fees in strict accordance with regulations, and standardize their own charging behavior.
At the same time of standardizing the charging behavior, in order to meet the public needs of obtaining the testing results as soon as possible, all kinds of nucleic acid testing institutions in this city are required to strengthen the allocation of nucleic acid testing forces, further shorten the time for issuing the nucleic acid testing results, and issue it in a timely manner. On the premise of ensuring the testing quality, quick testing and quick output should also be achieved, the nucleic acid testing results of various groups should be fed back within 6 hours, less than 12 hours, and the data should be uploaded to Beijing Health Treasure in time. Meanwhile, in order to further strengthen supervision, the Health Department will regularly publish the quality control evaluation results of testing institutions to the public in the future for the public to make informed choices.
