伊拉克频繁遭遇沙尘暴，多个机场航班临时停飞

Iraq frequently encountered sandstorms, many airports temporarily suspended flights

伊拉克20日遭遇沙尘暴，导致巴格达和纳杰夫等地机场航班临时停飞。这是自7日以来伊拉克第三次遭遇沙尘天气。

A sandstorm hit Iraq on 20th Monday, temporarily suspending flights at airports in Baghdad and Najaf.This is the third sandstorm in Iraq since July 7th.

据法新社报道，在巴格达，空气中弥漫着黄色沙尘，由于能见度太低，巴格达国际机场的航班停飞；纳杰夫机场也发布了航班临时停飞的声明。伊拉克通讯社援引气象部门消息报道，这场沙尘暴有望在21日退去。

According to Agence France-Presse, In Baghdad, yellow dust hung in the air and flights were grounded at Baghdad International Airport because of poor visibility. 这是伊拉克两周里第三次遭遇沙尘天气。本月7日，沙尘袭击伊拉克北部地区，埃尔比勒等地均受到影响，埃尔比勒有航班被取消；裹挟着沙尘的气团向伊南部移动，经过巴格达，影响远至纳西里耶一带。伊拉克卫生部发言人9日说，这次沙尘天气导致数十人因呼吸问题入院治疗。本月12日，巴格达、纳杰夫等地再遇沙尘天气，数十架次航班当天上午停飞，直至下午才恢复。

This is the third time in two weeks that Iraq has been hit by sand and dust.On July 7th, the dust hit northern Iraq, affecting irbil and other places. Flights were cancelled in Irbil. The dust cloud moved south, past Baghdad and as far away as Nasiriyah. Dozens of people have been hospitalized with respiratory problems as a result of the dusty weather, a health ministry spokesman said on July 9th. On December 12, Baghdad, Najaf and other places again encountered dust weather, dozens of flights grounded in the morning, until the afternoon to resume.
