4月3日，中老铁路开通运营四个月，累计发送旅客225.4万人次，发送货物131万吨，呈现客货运输两旺态势，为服务两国民众便捷高效出行、畅通国内国际双循环、促进中老经济走廊建设发挥了积极作用。
On April 3, the China-Laos Railway was opened for four months, a total of 2.254 million passengers and sending 1.310 million tons of cargo have been transported, showing momentum of both passenger and cargo transportation. It played a positive role in providing convenient and efficient travel services for both countries, opening up domestic and international double circulation, and promoting the construction of the China-Laos economic corridor.
旅客出行体验更加美好。中老铁路复兴号、澜沧号列车运行安全、绿色、便捷、舒适，缩短了城市间的时空距离，受到沿线民众青睐，成为出行首选，旅客发送量持续强劲增长，经受了春运考验，国内段日均开行旅客列车23.5对，最高峰开行32.5对，累计发送旅客203万人次；老挝段日均开行客车2对，累计发送旅客22.4万人次，最高日发送旅客2800多人。中国铁路昆明局集团有限公司、老中铁路公司科学分析旅客出行规律，精准配置运力资源，灵活增开旅客列车，优化站车服务措施，积极推行多语种服务，提升旅客出行体验。针对老挝段旅客出行需求，延长预售票时间，在老挝主要城市开设售票点，极大方便老挝人民乘坐火车出行。
The passengers have a better travel experience. The train of Fuxing and Lancang trains of the China-Laos railway has become the first choice for travel, for they are safe, green, convenient, and comfortable, shorten the distance of space-time between the city, and so are favored by the people along the line. The amount of passenger traffic has continued to grow strongly and has stood the test of spring transport. The daily traffic volume of the domestic section has been 23.5 pairs of passenger trains, with the operation of 32.5 pairs in the highest peak, and the total number of passengers has been transmitted to 2.03 million passengers. The Laos section runs 2 pairs of passenger buses per day, with a total of 224,000 passengers, with a maximum of more than 2,800 passengers per day. China Railway Kunming Group Co., Ltd. and China-Laos Railway Corporation scientifically analyzed passenger travel rules, accurately allocate transport resources, flexibly increase passenger trains, optimized station service measures promote multilingual services to improve the passenger travel experience. According to the travel needs of passengers in Laos are extended the advance booking time and set up ticket stations in major cities in Laos, which is greatly convenient for the people in Laos to travel by train.
货物运量和品类不断增加。中老铁路在中国和东盟间构建起一条便捷高效的物流通道，运输时间和物流成本大幅压缩，成为国际物流的黄金线路，发运货物已覆盖泰国、缅甸、老挝、马来西亚、柬埔寨、新加坡等10余个国家和地区，有力促进了沿线经贸往来。中老铁路开通以来，已累计开行货物列车2023列，发送货物131万吨，其中开行跨境货物列车427列，发送货物超过31万吨，货物运量从开通第一个月的17万吨提高到第四个月的36万吨，货物品类从开通初期的橡胶、化肥、百货扩展至电子、光伏、通信、汽车、纺织、蔬菜、鲜花等产品，达100多种。
The volume and categories of goods are increasing. China-Laos Railways have built a convenient and efficient logistics channel between China and ASEAN. The transportation time and logistics costs have been reduced to a great extent. They have become the gold line of international logistics. The shipment has covered in Thailand, Burma, Laos, Malaysia, Kampuchea, Singapore and so on more than 10 countries and regions, effectively promoting the economic and trade exchanges along the line. Since the opening of the China-Laos Railway, 2023 cargo trains have been in operation, transporting 1.31 million tones of cargo, among which 427 trains ran across-border freight trains, transporting more than 310,000 tons of cargo, with cargo volume increasing from 170,000 tons in the first month to 360,000 tons in fourth months. The range of goods has expanded from the rubber, fertilizer and general merchandise in the early days to more than 100 kinds of products including electronics, photovoltaics, communications, automobiles, textiles, vegetables and flowers.
国际物流通道保持安全畅通。昆明局集团公司、老中铁路公司精心组织国内段、国外段线路设备检修维护，加强老方员工培训，切实运营好、维护好中老铁路，确保国际运输通道安全畅通；与海关部门强化协作，推动口岸便利化通关，提升国际联运效率；严格按照中老两国沿线政府部门要求落实疫情防控措施，加强进出站测温、通风消毒，设置隔离席位，强化职工自身防护，营造健康安全的出行环境。
International logistics channels shall be kept safe and unimpeded. China Railway Kunming Group Co., Ltd. and China-Laos Railway Corporation meticulously organized maintenance and repair of domestic and abroad railway lines, strengthened training of Laos's workers, and effectively operated and maintained the China-Laos railways to ensure the safety and unimpeded flow of international transport corridors. Strengthen cooperation with the customs department to facilitate port clearance and improve the efficiency of international combined transport. We will strictly implement epidemic prevention and control measures in accordance with the requirements of government departments along the line between China and Laos, strengthen temperature measurement, ventilation and disinfection at entry and exit stations, set isolation seats, strengthen employees' self-protection, and create a healthy and safe travel environment.
