每年全国两会期间，习近平总书记都会参加代表团审议、看望政协委员并参加联组会，面对面听取代表委员发言，与来自全国各地、不同行业领域的代表委员们深入交流、共商国是。

Every year during the NPC and CPPCC sessions, General Secretary Xi Jinping participates in the delegation's deliberations, visits CPPCC members and participates in joint group meetings, listens to the speeches of the representative members face to face, and has in-depth exchanges with the representative members from all over the country and different industries to discuss the state.

What did the representative members say when communicating with General Secretary Xi Jinping? 2021年全国两会，我用流利的汉语向习近平总书记作了汇报。那天，我发言的题目是“学好国家通用语言文字，让草原的孩子飞得更高更远”。

At the national Two Sessions in 2021, I reported to General Secretary Xi Jinping in fluent Chinese. On that day, the topic of my speech was "Learning the national common language well so that the children in the grassland can fly higher and farther".

我的女儿从小学习国家通用语言文字，现在已经研究生毕业，顺利找到如意的工作。在与家乡人的交流中，我常讲自己家的例子。点滴日常中，把促进民族团结、铸牢中华民族共同体意识的种子种到每个人心里。

My daughter has been learning the national common language from an early age, and now she has graduated from her master's degree and has successfully found a satisfactory job. In my communication with my hometown people, I often tell examples of my own family. In daily life, the seeds of promoting national unity and building up the consciousness of the Chinese nation community are planted in everyone's heart.

“汉族离不开少数民族、少数民族离不开汉族、各少数民族之间也相互离不开”，总书记的话在我心中久久回荡，民族团结是各族人民的生命线，维护民族团结是各族人民的共同责任，我们每个人的前途命运都和祖国紧密相连，只有国家好、民族好，大家才会好。

"The Han nationality cannot be separated from ethnic minorities, ethnic minorities cannot be separated from the Han nationality, and ethnic minorities cannot be separated from each other." The general secretary's words reverberated in my heart for a long time. National unity is the lifeline of the people of all ethnic groups. Safeguarding national unity is the common responsibility of the people of all ethnic groups. The future and destiny of each of us are closely linked to the motherland. Only when the country is good and the nation is good can everyone be good.

推广普及国家通用语言文字，是民族团结的重要保障，特别是对少数民族的孩子，有助于他们实现更大梦想。拿我自己来讲，从小在牧区长大，到小学三年级我才开始系统学习国家通用语言文字。当我走出嘎查（村子），接触到更广阔世界，才真切认识到，学习使用国家通用语言，是每个中国人的必修课。

Promoting the popularization of the national common language is an important guarantee for national unity, especially for the children of ethnic minorities, which helps them realize their greater dreams. Take myself for example. I grew up in pastoral areas and didn't begin to systematically learn the national common language until the third grade of primary school. When I walked out of Gacha (village) and came into contact with the wider world, I truly realized that learning to use the national common language is a compulsory course for every Chinese.

文化认同是最深层次的认同，是民族团结之根、民族和睦之魂。我一直在思考，怎样讲才能让家乡人更形象、更直观了解民族团结的重要性。

Cultural identity is the deepest level of identity, the root of national unity and the soul of national harmony. I have been thinking about how to make my hometown people understand the importance of national unity more vividly and intuitively.

国家通用语言文字中形象的比喻手法给了我启发。2021年以来，我到基层一线做了十多场宣讲。我用石榴籽作比喻——每一个民族就像石榴中的一个籽儿，紧紧抱在一起，团结在一起；我用家庭作比喻——任何一个民族都是中华民族大家庭中的一员，就如我们的小家庭中有爸爸、妈妈、孩子，每个人都是其中的一员，蒙古族是中华民族大家庭中的一员，各民族交往交流交融，才能共同创造美好生活。这一年来，大家学好国家通用语言文字的意识越来越强，对民族团结的认识越来越深。

I was inspired by the metaphor of images in the national common language. Since 2021, I have given more than 10 lectures at the grass-roots level. I use pomegranate seeds as a metaphor-each nation is like a seed in pomegranate, tightly held together and united. I use the family as an analogy-any nation is a member of the big family of the Chinese nation, just as our small family has father, mother and children, and everyone is one of them. Mongolian is a member of the big family of the Chinese nation. Only through exchanges and blending of all ethnic groups can we jointly create a better life. Over the past year, everyone has become more and more aware of learning the national common language and characters well, and has a deeper understanding of ethnic unity.

关注教育、引导孩子，让民族团结的种子在各族师生心中扎根发芽，是我作为一名全国人大代表、一名教师的重要责任。这一年，我通过“我是代表我帮你”平台，帮助偏远地区的70名学生获得资助。在乌拉特前旗的每一所中小学及幼儿园，新的家庭教育理念贯穿于教育教学、传递到家长心中。

It is my important responsibility as a NPC representative and a teacher to pay attention to education, guide children and let the seeds of national unity take root and sprout in the hearts of teachers and students of all ethnic groups. This year, I helped 70 students in remote areas to obtain financial aid through the "I help you on behalf of me" platform. In every primary and secondary school and kindergarten in Wulateqian Banner, the new concept of family education runs through education and teaching and is passed on to parents.

如今，乌拉特前旗的学校办学条件，在政府支持下越来越好，更多高水平的老师加入进来，孩子奔向美好未来的大门已经敞开，“建设亮丽内蒙古，共圆伟大中国梦”的征程正等待着他们去驰骋。

Now, with the support of the government, the conditions for running schools in Wulateqian Banner are getting better and better. More high-level teachers have joined in. The door for children to run for a better future is open. The journey of "building a beautiful Inner Mongolia and realizing the great Chinese dream together" is waiting for them to gallop.
