潼南区编委单独发文，在区林业局增设“林长科”，增设科长1名、工作人员1名，具体负责林长制日常工作，实现有单设机构、有专职人员开展工作。在林长科具体落实下，2022年潼南区召开总林长会议、林长办会议多次，以林长办名义印制各类文件24件，报送各类信息150余篇，牵头办理林长交办问题清单30余件。
