Close-up: Moving a New Home Across Thousands of Miles
翻过高高的山梁，绕过蓝蓝的湖泊，一辆辆大巴首尾相连，行驶在蜿蜒的高原公路上。
Climbing over the high mountain ridge and bypassing the blue lake, buses are connected end to end and driving on the winding plateau highway.
这是一个不平凡的日子。7月19日，西藏实施那曲市双湖县第二批高海拔牧民生态搬迁，又一批牧民告别苦寒高远的藏北腹地，前往雅鲁藏布江畔的新家。
This is an extraordinary day. On July 19, Tibet implemented the second batch of ecological relocation of high-altitude herdsmen in Shuanghu County, Nagqu City, and another group of herdsmen bid farewell to the bitter cold and lofty hinterland of northern Tibet and went to their new homes on the banks of the Yarlung Zangbo River.
大多数的人类迁徙，都寄托着改变生活的期望。全国海拔最高县双湖县的搬迁亦是如此。
Most human migrations are based on expectations of changing lives. The same is true for the relocation of Shuanghu County, the highest county in the country.
早晨6时30分，天空还没有亮透，双湖县多玛乡的公路旁，已热闹非凡。牧民们背着行李，挎着包裹，扶老携幼，迈着轻快的步伐，登上大巴。
The herdsmen boarded the bus with their luggage, parcels, old and young, walking briskly. At 6:30 in the morning, the sky was not yet bright, and the road in Duoma Township, Shuanghu County was already very lively.

73岁的布琼患有类风湿关节炎，“我期待新家的生活。那里海拔低，天气暖和，能缓解我的关节炎。”
Bujun, 73, suffers from rheumatoid arthritis. "I am looking forward to living in my new home. The low altitude and warm weather there can relieve my arthritis."
双湖县人民医院的医生普仓随车队为搬迁群众提供医疗保障。“双湖海拔太高了，高血压、痛风、先天性心脏病发病率很高。搬到新家后，将有利于这些疾病的预防和治疗。”她说。
"The altitude of Shuanghu is too high, and the incidence of hypertension, gout and congenital heart disease is very high. After moving to a new home, it will be beneficial to the prevention and treatment of these diseases." She said. The doctor general warehouse of Shuanghu County People's Hospital accompanied the convoy to provide medical protection for the relocated people.
太阳慢慢升起，车队缓缓驶远，草原又恢复了宁静。
The sun slowly rose, the convoy slowly drove away, and the grassland was quiet again.
这是一次跨越千里的远行。新家所在的山南市贡嘎县森布日村，距离双湖县约900公里。那里海拔3600米，比双湖县海拔低了1000多米。
About 900 kilometers away from Shuanghu County. It is 3600 meters above sea level, which is more than 1000 meters lower than that of Shuanghu County. This is a long journey across thousands of miles. The new home is located in Senbuli Village, Gongga County, Shannan City.
路途虽然遥远，心情却是愉悦的。车里，驶向新家园的藏北牧民，眼神里写满了对新生活的期许。
Although the journey is far away, the mood is pleasant. In the car, the herdsmen in northern Tibet who drove to their new homes filled their eyes with expectations for a new life.
27岁的次仁央金怀有8个月的身孕，将在新家附近的医院完成分娩。“在高海拔生孩子有很多风险，能在低海拔的新家生孩子，让我减少了很多顾虑。为了路途上的安全，政府专门安排了保障救护车。”次仁央金说。
"There are many risks in having a child at a high altitude, and being able to have a child at a new home at a low altitude has reduced my concerns. For safety on the road, the government has specially arranged to protect ambulances." Tsering Yangjin said.Tsering Yangjin, 27, is eight months pregnant and will give birth in a hospital near his new home.
果根擦曲村的娘桑和孩子们正聊着学习。他的儿子罗布顿珠明年将上森布日幼儿园。“双湖县海拔高，天气寒冷，常年大风肆虐，去森布日新家对孩子们的成长和学习有好处。故土难离，但为了下一代，我赞成搬迁。”娘桑语气坚定。
His son Robton Pearl will attend Senburi Kindergarten next year. "Shuanghu County has high altitude and cold weather, and the wind rages all the year round. Going to a new home in Samburi is good for the children's growth and learning. The old land is hard to leave, but for the sake of the next generation, I am in favor of moving." Niang sang's tone is firm.Niang Sang from Guogen Cha Qu Village and the children are chatting and studying.
双湖县一半以上面积在羌塘国家级自然保护区内，是藏羚羊、藏野驴、野牦牛的乐园，但区域内草场以每年3%至5%的速度退化。
However, the grassland in the area degenerates at a rate of 3% to 5% every year.More than half of Shuanghu County is located in Qiangtang National Nature Reserve, which is a paradise for Tibetan antelope, Tibetan wild donkey and wild yak.
仲鲁玛村的旦真说：“这是我生活了几十年的地方，一下子要离开了，舍不得。但搬迁也是为了双湖的生态保护，是件好事。”

当地群众手捧洁白的哈达，跳起欢快的舞蹈，端着象征五谷丰登的“切玛盒”，在锣鼓喧天的喜庆氛围中迎接来自远方的“新邻居”们。
