第五届世界生物圈保护区大会将于2025年在我国举办。这将是世界生物圈保护区大会首次在我国举办，也是首次在亚太地区举办。日前，联合国教科文组织助理总干事致函我国人与生物圈国家委员会，确认了这一消息。该次大会后，联合国教科文组织还将在华召开人与生物圈计划国际协调理事会第37次会议。
