Sha Haiqing
愚公移山只是一个美丽的寓言故事，现实中还真有一位“愚公”，他是新中国成立以来第一位治沙英雄。他历经千辛万苦，与沙海不屈抗争40年，将“绿水青山就是金山银山”的论文写在毛乌素沙漠上。他为我国治沙事业作出了杰出贡献，获得国家颁发的“七一勋章”。

1952年，石光银出生在陕西省榆林市定边县海子梁乡。千百年来，定边流传着这样一首歌谣：一年一场风，从春刮到冬。从春种到夏，到秋一场空。石光银的家乡是西北地区出了名的“沙窝窝”， 每当风沙来临，大风起兮，风沙飞扬，吹得人无法睁开眼睛。人躲沙，沙撵人。乡亲们就像逃荒一样，躲沙暴的情景令石光银终生铭记。

For thousands of years, there has been a song in Dingbian: a wind blows every year from spring to winter. From spring planting to summer, to autumn is empty. Shi Guangyin's hometown is the famous "Shawowo" in the northwest. People hide from the sand, and the sand drives people away. The villagers are like fleeing the desert, and the scene of hiding from the sandstorm will be remembered by Shi Guangyin for the rest of his life.

石光银22岁入党，第二年，当上了村支书。

1984年，国家颁布一项治沙造林的政策：鼓励以个人名义承包五荒地（荒沙、荒山、荒沟、荒滩、荒坡）。石光银看到了治沙造林的希望，经过深思熟虑，他毅然决定辞去海子梁乡农场场长的职务，去承包荒山治沙。此事犹如晴天霹雳，在整个海子梁乡引发轩然大波，成了爆炸性新闻。

1997年，石光银唯一的儿子石占军对治沙事业无限热爱，坚持以挂职干部的身份参与到治沙造林队伍中。看着儿孙一起忙种树，石光银欣慰地说，我这一辈子治沙13万亩，你再治沙13万亩，将来等你儿子长大了，再治沙13万亩。我们三辈人下来，就能形成一片“绿色长城”。生命不息，治沙不止。治沙要有后劲，要一代压着一代人干。

2008年3月12日植树节，为赶在当天回到定边，石占军一大早拉着一大卡车优质樟子松树苗从宁夏银川出发。车子在高速公路上抛锚发生车祸，石占军英年早逝，年仅38岁。
