The Beijing Municipal Development and Reform Commission approved the feasibility study report on the Beijing section of Rail Transit Line 22 (Pinggu Line), which is expected to be completed and opened to traffic by 2025, according to a person in charge of the Beijing Development and Reform Commission. Sanhe City, Dachang Hui Autonomous County and Xianghe County (hereinafter referred to as "Beisan County") in Langfang City, Hebei Province will be connected to the Beijing subway network for the first time.

Tongzhou District, where the deputy city center of Beijing is located, is adjacent to Hebei Province and Tianjin, especially just across the river from the three northern counties of Hebei Province.

负责人介绍，轨道交通22号线(平谷线)项目西起北京市朝阳区东大桥站，经北京市通州区、河北省三河市，东至北京市平谷区平谷站，全长约81.2公里，设站21座。其中，北京段(含朝阳段、通州段、平谷段)约51.2公里，设站16座；河北段(三河段)约30公里，设站5座。

According to an official in charge, the rail transit line 22 (Pinggu Line) project starts from Dongdaqiao Station in Chaoyang District of Beijing in the west, passes through Tongzhou District of Beijing and Sanhe City of Hebei Province, and reaches Pinggu Station of Pinggu District of Beijing in the east, with a total length of about 81.2 kilometers and 21 stations. Among them, the Beijing section (including Chaoyang section, Tongzhou section, Pinggu section) is about 51.2 km, with 16 stations; the Hebei section (Sanhe section) is about 30 km, with 5 stations.

负责人指出，该条线路设计最高速度地上段为每小时160公里、地下段为每小时120公里。线路共有换乘站12座，未来可与北京轨道交通6号线、10号线、14号线、17号线等15条轨道交通线路实现换乘。

The official pointed out that the designed maximum speed of the upper section of the line is 160 kilometers per hour and the underground section is 120 kilometers per hour. There are 12 transfer stations on the lines, which can transfer with 15 rail transit lines such as Beijing Rail Transit Line 6, Line 10, Line 14 and Line 17 in the future.

The Beijing city sub-center can reach the three counties of Hebei Province in 9 minutes as soon as possible. While relieving the pressure of ground transit traffic in the Beijing city sub-center, it will play a demonstration and leading role in the Beijing city sub-center, and radiation will promote the coordinated development of the three counties in Hebei Province.

此外，线路还将接入北京城市副中心站枢纽，与京唐城际铁路、北京市郊铁路新城联络线等铁路衔接，实现京津冀区域交通与城市交通的快速转换。

负责人表示，目前，轨道交通22号线(平谷线)全线21个车站已有16个车站实现进场施工，区间工程也在同步加快建设。按照计划，今年年底前实现全部车站进场施工，计划2025年建成通车。

The official said that at present, 16 of the 21 stations on Rail Transit Line 22 (Pinggu Line) have come into construction, and the interval project is also speeding up construction at the same time. According to the plan, all stations will be put into construction by the end of this year, and it is planned to be completed and opened to traffic by 2025.

记者了解到，截至目前，北京市轨道交通在建线路达10条(段)，总里程合计达到约238公里。
