  • When and why did you join memoQ?

  • I joined memoQ at the end of 2018. It was a recommendation from a friend who also worked for memoQ in the sales team some time before. I was available and looking for a new career opportunity.

  • What does your current position entail?

  • As head of the DACH hub, I motivate, monitor, and lead a small team of people. In addition to this, I hunt leads, RFPs, and Tenders, organize demos and follow-up meetings during trials, and discuss legal topics. Finally, I negotiate the commercial offering with procurement departments once a new client is won.
    作为DACH中心负责人,我主要承担三大核心职责:1. 团队建设:凝聚小型团队向心力,实施目标激励与效能监督2. 业务拓展:主导潜在客户开发、招标项目攻关及提案邀约(RFP)3. 客户全周期管理:产品演示策划 试用期跟进会议统筹 法律事务协调 4. 商务谈判:客户签约后,主导与采购部门的商业条款磋商
  • What is your vision for the DACH Hub?
    您对DACH中心的战略愿景是怎样的?
  • My vision for the DACH + hub is making memoQ the first TMS choice for enterprises, language service providers, governmental and non-governmental entities, and also anyone else using other TMSs. My vision is also to make the AI-based memoQ solutions (memoQ AGT and globalese by memoQ) the first choice as well.
    我对DACH中心的战略布局聚焦两大目标:1. 市场主导:使memoQ成为企业、语言服务商、政府及非政府机构的首选TMS平台,并吸引竞品用户迁移2. 技术引领:将AI解决方案(memoQ AGT与globalese)打造为行业首选智能工具
  • What do you like most about the translation industry?

  • I have a 25-year background in the pharmaceutical sales industry. Comparing these two, the translation industry is much smaller. But, it is like family. Events like TEKOM are like family gatherings. Everyone knows everybody. People are very supportive, open-minded, and interested. They are experts in communicating.

  • A few years ago, I initiated and established separate, quarterly round table events for enterprises and consultants. Those were highly accepted by the attendees and created a lot of value not only for them but also for memoQ.

  • I love to travel to different countries, and I play a lot of sports. But my passion is year-round scuba diving.
