On the evening of May 24, 2025 local time, Premier Li Qiang and Indonesian President Prabowo jointly attended the China-Indonesia Business Dinner in Jakarta and delivered a speech. About 200 business representatives from the two countries attended.
李强表示，今年是中印尼建交75周年，也是万隆会议举行70周年。70多年前，世界处在一个历史十字路口。在全球充满纷争和对立的背景下，中国、印尼等亚非国家齐聚万隆，形成了团结、友谊、合作的万隆精神，为促进南南合作，推动世界局势朝着正确方向发展，发挥了重大作用。70多年后的今天，世界再次处于重要的十字路口。国际局势变乱交织，单边主义、保护主义上升，霸凌行径增多，万隆精神的时代价值更加凸显。我们要顺应历史前进大势，坚持求同存异、和平共处，以协商化解分歧，以合作促进共赢，实现共建共享的发展繁荣。
Li Qiang stated that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Indonesia, as well as the 70th anniversary of the Bandung Conference. Over seven decades ago, the world stood at a historical crossroads. Against the backdrop of global strife and division, Asian and African nations, including China and Indonesia, converged in Bandung, forging the Bandung Spirit of unity, friendship, and cooperation. This spirit played a pivotal role in promoting South-South cooperation and steering the global situation toward the right course. Today, more than 70 years later, the world finds itself at another critical juncture. With the international landscape marked by intertwined chaos and volatility, the rise of unilateralism and protectionism, and an increase in bullying acts, the timeless value of the Bandung Spirit has become even more pronounced. We must align with the historical trend, uphold the principles of seeking common ground while reserving differences and peaceful coexistence, resolve differences through consultation, and promote win-win outcomes through cooperation, so as to achieve shared development and prosperity.
李强指出，中国和印尼始终秉持万隆精神，开展全方位务实合作。近些年，在两国元首的战略引领下，中印尼合作不断迈上新台阶。双边贸易扩量提质，双向投资快速增长，重大项目成效显著，双方经贸合作的纽带越拉越紧，实实在在惠及两国企业和人民，为世界经济注入更多确定性。
Li Qiang noted that China and Indonesia had always adhered to the Bandung Spirit in conducting all - round pragmatic cooperation. In recent years, thanks to the strategic guidance of the two countries' heads of state, China - Indonesia cooperation had been elevated to new heights continuously. Bilateral trade had expanded in scale and advanced in quality, two - way investment had accelerated rapidly, and major cooperative projects had achieved remarkable progress. The bond of economic and trade cooperation between the two sides had been pulled increasingly tighter, bringing real benefits to businesses and peoples of both countries and injecting greater certainty into the global economy.
李强强调，今年以来，中国经济在外部挑战增多背景下实现较快增长，展现出强劲的内在驱动力，同时蕴含着巨大的增量空间。一是需求释放的增量空间。中国正在实施扩大内需战略，开展提振消费专项行动，超大规模市场潜力将源源不断释放。二是科技赋能的增量空间。中国在科技创新领域不断突破，人工智能、机器人、生物医药等加速赋能千行百业，将为各国企业带来更多创新和投资合作机会。三是产业升级的增量空间。中国正在大力推进制造业高端化、智能化、绿色化转型，有序扩大海外投资，将与各国共同提升产供链水平和效益。中国愿与包括印尼在内的各国共享增量空间和发展机遇，将坚定不移扩大开放，为外国企业来华投资兴业营造更好环境。希望中印尼工商界加强对接、积极行动，做大合作蛋糕，加强产业融合，维护自由贸易，促进两国各领域合作结出更多硕果。
Li Qiang stressed that this year, despite mounting external challenges, China's economy has grown rapidly, showing strong internal momentum and huge potential for growth. There are three key aspects: First, the potential for more consumption. As China expands domestic demand and boosts consumption, its large - scale market potential will be unleashed continuously. Second, the potential from technological empowerment. With breakthroughs in tech innovation - artificial intelligence, robotics, and biopharma are accelerating transformation across industries - more innovation and investment opportunities will emerge for global enterprises. Third, the potential from industrial upgrading. China is promoting the high - end, smart, and green transformation of manufacturing and expanding overseas investment orderly to enhance the global industrial and supply chains.China is willing to share this growth potential and development opportunities with all countries, including Indonesia, and will continue to expand opening - up to create a better environment for foreign businesses. He hopes that the business communities of China and Indonesia will strengthen cooperation, take more active actions, expand cooperation areas, boost industrial integration, defend free trade, and promote more fruitful cooperation outcomes in all fields.

Prabowo stated that Indonesia-China relations rank among the most strategic and promising bilateral ties in the 21st century. Indonesia is eager to enhance cooperation with China in economy, industry, green economy, and education. We also aim to strengthen cultural exchanges for mutual benefit. Indonesian welcomes further Chinese investment and seeks to expand cooperation. Indonesia commends China's significant role in international affairs. Jointly, we'll promote the Bandung Spirit to safeguard peace, stability, and prosperity in Asia, protect developing countries' interests, and uphold international fairness and justice.

Before the dinner, the two leaders jointly visited the exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Bandung Conference and the exhibition showcasing the achievements of China-Indonesia economic and trade cooperation.
