In 2024, Dr. Adam Drewnowski was awarded the W. O. Atwater Memorial Lecture, which recognizes scientists recognize scientists who have made unique contributions toward improving the diet and nutrition of people around the world.

2024年，亚当·德雷诺夫斯基（Adam Drewnowski）博士荣获W.O.阿特沃特纪念讲座奖（W. O. Atwater Memorial Lecture）。该奖项旨在表彰那些为改善全球人口膳食质量和营养状况作出独特贡献的科学家。

The W.O. Atwater Lecture was established in 1968 to honor the memory of Wilbur Olin Atwater (1844-1907) and to recognize scientists who have made unique contributions toward improving the diet and nutrition of people around the world. Atwater, considered the father of modern nutrition research and education, was the U.S. Department of Agriculture's first chief of nutrition investigations.

W.O.阿特沃特纪念讲座设立于1968年，旨在纪念威尔伯·奥林·阿特沃特（Wilbur Olin Atwater，1844—1907），并表彰那些在改善世界各地人民膳食与营养状况方面作出独特贡献的科学家。阿特沃特被誉为“现代营养学研究与教育之父”，同时也是美国农业部最早负责营养研究工作的负责人。
