As of the close of the day, the price of light crude oil futures for August delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose 34 cents to close at $65.45 per barrel, an increase of 0.52%; London Brent crude oil futures for September delivery rose 37 cents, or 0.55%, to close at $67.11 a barrel.
