Recently, Asia Coatings, India's largest coatings manufacturer, announced that it will build its second production plant in the country in Abu Dhabi Industrial City, United Arab Emirates, to further expand the market in the Gulf Cooperation Council region. This move aims to improve supply chain efficiency through localized manufacturing and quickly respond to growing demand in the architectural and industrial coatings sector in the Middle East.
The new factory will produce a variety of products including decorative coatings, waterproofing materials and industrial coatings. The company stated that this investment is an important part of its strategy of strengthening production capacity layout in core areas and getting close to end customers. Asian Paints currently has a factory in Abu Dhabi. The new base will introduce more advanced production technology and automation systems to improve operational efficiency and enhance sustainable development capabilities.
Market analysis pointed out that the continued promotion of infrastructure construction and real estate industry development in the Middle East has created long-term demand for the coatings market. The expansion of Asia Paint's production will help it consolidate its competitive advantages in the region, reduce import dependence, and seize green growth opportunities in the field of buildings and specialty coatings.
