作为2日中国内地两个日增本土感染者超百例的省份，宁夏和内蒙古疫情均呈“点多面广、局部集中”之势。宁夏当日新增本土确诊4例、无症状感染者127例，日增本土感染人数仍居各省份之首，但较前一日(162例)继续下降。9月20日至10月2日，宁夏本轮疫情累计报告本土感染者逾1800例，主要来自中卫市。
