Our Party has focused on upholding and improving the fundamental, basic, and important institutions underpinning the system of socialism with Chinese characteristics, including the system of people's congresses, the system of multi-party cooperation and political consultation, and the system of regional ethnic autonomy. 以马克思主义为指导思想的无产阶级政党，在推进人类社会发展的历史进程中，在尊重客观规律的前提下，可以而且应该积极作为、主动作为，也可以大有作为。一百年来，不管形势和任务如何变化，不管遇到什么样的惊涛骇浪，我们党都始终把握历史主动，不断从胜利走向新的胜利。在第一批中国共产党人精神谱系当中，诸如塞罕坝精神、红旗渠精神等等都体现了人的主观能动性作用发挥。塞罕坝林场的建设者用了60年的时间，在140万亩的荒原沙漠上，成功栽植了112万亩人工林，创造了一个变荒原为林海、让沙漠成绿洲的绿色奇迹。河南林州人民艰苦奋斗10年，仅仅靠着一锤，一铲，两只手，在太行山悬崖峭壁上修成了全长1500公里的红旗渠，被誉为“世界第八大奇迹”。事在人为、为者常成。一切根据和符合于客观事实的思想是正确的思想，一切根据于正确思想的做或行动是正确的行动。我们要充分发挥主观能动性，在深刻把握历史规律的基础上，立足所处的历史方位，顺应历史发展大势，遇水架桥、逢山开路，勇于抓住历史机遇，自觉肩负历史责任，主动担当历史使命，矢志不渝为中国式现代化奋斗不息。

In the first batch of Chinese Communist spiritual genealogies, such as the Saihanba spirit, the Hongqi canal spirit, and so on, all reflected the role of human subjective initiative. The builders of Saihanba forest farm spent 60 years and successfully planted 1.12 million mu of plantations on 1.4 million mu of wasteland desert, creating a green miracle of turning the wasteland into a forest sea and turning the desert into an oasis. The people of Linzhou, Henan Province, have worked hard for 10 years, relying only on a hammer, a shovel, and two hands to build a 1,500-kilometer-long Hongqi Canal on the cliffs of the Taihang Mountains, which is known as the "Eighth Wonder of the World". Things are man-made and always done. All thoughts based on and conformed to objective facts are correct thoughts, and all actions based on correct thoughts are correct actions. We must give full play to our subjective initiative, on the basis of profoundly grasping the laws of history, base ourselves on the historical orientation in which we are located, conform to the general trend of historical development, build bridges in the face of water, open up roads in every mountain, have the courage to seize historical opportunities, consciously shoulder historical responsibilities, take the initiative to undertake historical missions, and unswervingly strive for China-style modernization.
