"可持续发展工业企业"评选由知名商业媒体福布斯中国于2022年首次发起，旨在表彰在推动绿色转型方面表现突出的工业企业。本次评选以国家"双碳"和"形成新质生产力"目标为导向，围绕"可持续发展管理体系"、"转型技术创新"、"可持续发展实践"、"长期经济增长"四大维度，从涵盖新能源、高端制造、传统制造业等超10个细分行业中遴选出40家主评选企业与8家子评选企业。作为入选主评选榜单的涂料行业代表，立邦以助力国家实现"双碳"目标为己任，通过"绿色行动"和"产品责任"两大维度，持续探索可持续发展的创新模式，其于6月发布的2024年可持续发展报告亦全面展示了公司在碳排放管理方面的实践成果。

The "Sustainable Industrial Enterprises" selection was first launched by Forbes China, a well-known business media, in 2022 to commend industrial enterprises with outstanding performance in promoting green transformation. This selection is guided by the national goals of "double carbon" and "forming new quality productivity", and focuses on the four major dimensions of "sustainable development management system", "transformation technological innovation", "sustainable development practice", and "long-term economic growth", 40 main selection companies and 8 sub-selection companies were selected from more than 10 sub-industries covering new energy, high-end manufacturing, and traditional manufacturing. As a representative of the coatings industry selected into the main selection list, Nippon Paint takes it as its mission to help the country achieve the "dual carbon" goal, and continues to explore innovative models of sustainable development through the two dimensions of "green action" and "product responsibility". In the packaging process, Nippon Paint has brought renewable plastics into the field of paint packaging and developed recycled plastic packaging barrels to achieve carbon reduction design. As of the end of 2024, more than 80% of Nippon Paint's plastic barrels have been added with post-consumer recycled materials (PCR), and a total of approximately 1,500 tons of PCR materials have been used. In the logistics link, Nippon Paint adopts combined transportation to increase the proportion of sea and railway transportation, reducing carbon emissions by approximately 911 tons in 2024.
