2019年秋季学期起，清华大学周密部署、精心备课，开设“习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想概论”课程。主讲教师以广阔的视野、深厚的理论功底、生动的语言向学生讲解马克思主义与中国的“历史缘分”“近代结合”“当代飞跃”，引导学生学思践悟习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的博大精深。“解疑释惑、以理服人、非常解渴！”如今，这门思政课愈发受到学生们喜爱，成为“一座难求”的思政“金课”。

聚焦铸魂育人，习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想进教材、进课堂、进头脑。目前37家全国重点马院以及北京、天津、上海、黑龙江等试点地区全面开设的“习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想概论”课，已覆盖180万学生。教育部制作的《习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想三十讲》课件，点击下载量累计近3000万次。

办好思想政治理论课关键在教师，关键在发挥教师的积极性、主动性、创造性。近年来，高校思政教师队伍建设卓有成效：截至2021年年底，高校思政课专兼职教师超过12.7万人，较2012年增加7.4万人，队伍配备总体达到师生比1∶350的要求；专职思政课教师年轻化成为队伍发展新态势，49岁以下教师占77.7%，具有高级职称的占35%；41个全国高校思政课教师研修（学）基地、32个“手拉手”集体备课中心，开展常态化培训研修，每年培训教师近6000人。
