Etihad has launched a new Wi-Fly service offering free in-flight chat plans and unlimited data

April 14, 2023: Etihad Airways, the award-winning national airline of the United Arab Emirates, has launched its new Wi-Fly 'Chat' and 'Surf' packages, making it easier than ever for travellers to stay connected, chat with family and friends and browse the web while flying Etihad's wide-body fleet.

每位搭乘阿提哈德航班的旅客只需在飞行前登录或在线注册阿提哈德常旅客计划会员，立即可享阿提哈德的“聊天”消息功能，这个免费聊天功能包括使用WhatsApp、Messenger和微信等流行的即时通讯应用程序。

Every passenger who flies with Etihad simply signs in or signs up online for Etihad's frequent-flier program membership before the flight to instantly enjoy Etihad's "Chat" messaging feature, a free chat feature that includes access to popular messaging apps such as WhatsApp, Messenger and wechat.

Travelers who want to surf the Internet, read social media and work while in flight also have the option of purchasing a "surf" Wi-Fly plan, which charges a flat fee for unlimited data during the flight. For flights under seven hours, the chat package costs just $2.99 (Etihad frequent flier members can use it for free) and the surf package costs $9.99. For flights longer than seven hours, the chat package costs $4.99 (Etihad customer members are also free) and the surf package costs $19.99.

Etihad Frequent flier Platinum Card members, Exclusive members and Etihad First Class passengers will enjoy free "surf" Wi-Fly service throughout their flight. Etihad Frequent-Flyer Gold Card members will receive 25% off the purchase of surf packages.
